Ages

This event is all ages, however children aged 16 and under the age must be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged 18+) at all times.

Getting Here

Car Parking
Car parking is available at Car Park 4 (Vision Australia), located on Glenferrie Road directly opposite the stadium. Parking is managed by Rotary and costs $10 per vehicle, per day.

Public Transport
Kooyong is easily accessible via public transport:
Train: Glen Waverly Line to Kooyong Station
Tram: Route 16 along Glenferrie Road, Stop 66

All ticketholders are required to enter the stadium via Gate 1 or Gate 2.

Passholders should enter through the clubhouse.

Entering the venue

• Share your mobile, printed tickets or passes with your group.
• Security check: You will be asked to allow a search of bags or belongings. We recommended bags be no bigger than A4 size to reduce queuing times.
• Ticket scanning: Proceed to the ticket scanning point ready to be scanned by a staff member.

Prohibited Items

The following items will not be permitted inside the venue.

• Alcohol
• Animals (except registered assistance animals)
• Illicit substances
• Dangerous or inappropriate goods (e.g. weapons, fireworks)
• Professional cameras, tripods, selfie sticks, GoPros & iPads, laptops (personal camera phones will be permitted)
• Sharp knives
• Tables, tents or sun shelters
• Hard sided containers or eskies
• Glass
• Promotional material of any kind
• Large sun umbrellas

Pass outs

No pass outs will be issued for this event.

Dress Code

As a licensed venue a minimum dress code applies. Shirts and shoes are required at all times.

Eat and Drink

Food trucks will be onsite. Bars will be open serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. There are free refillable water stations available. You are encouraged to bring your own reusable water bottle (no glass) to the event. Please ensure your water bottle is empty when entering the venue.

The Kooyong Classic is a cashless venue.

Ticket Office

The Ticket Office is located outside the venue, to the left of the Gate 1 entrance. The Ticket Office will be attended by staff from 9am daily.

Wet Weather Policy

The Kooyong stadium is an outdoor venue. If rain or bad weather occurs, there may be interruptions to play until suitable to recommence. Umbrellas are not allowed into the main stadium.

Smoke-free venue

Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is not permitted within the venue. If you wish to smoke, please proceed to the designated smoking area outside the venue.

Safety

• First Aid: If you or a friend are feeling unwell, please seek First Aid help immediately. First Aid facilities are located in the designated first aid room.  To help keep you safe, mobile crews of first aid staff will be roaming the venue throughout the event.
• Report antisocial behaviour: The Kooyong Classic is a safe and inclusive space for all visitors and organisers do not tolerate any antisocial behaviour at their venues. To seek assistance or report antisocial behaviour you can speak to security staff. Their team members are trained to help you.

Security

We encourage you to arrive early and reduce the number of items you bring with you. It is a condition of entry that all patrons comply with an ID check and search of bags or belongings before entering the venue. Prohibited items (listed above) will not be allowed. Kooyong Classic reserves the right to refuse or revoke entry for any behaviour or activity that is illegal, poses a safety risk or impacts upon other patrons’ ability to enjoy the event.

Use of your image

Security cameras are operating on the premises, and you acknowledge that you may be filmed. You consent to and authorise us to film, record or photograph you, and to reproduce recordings in any audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication, or reproduction in any medium or context for any purpose without further authorisation by, or compensation or attribution to you. All recordings are our sole property, and you release us from liability arising on account of such usage.
