Fresh from claiming the biggest title of his career at the Cincinnati Open, Fils will make his Kooyong debut in January.
The 22-year-old defeated Australia's Alex de Minaur in straight sets during his title-winning run before overcoming Frances Tiafoe in the final to capture his maiden ATP Masters 1000 crown.
The victory caps an outstanding return from injury for the French star, who has also won the Barcelona Open, reached the final in Doha, and advanced to ATP Masters 1000 semi-finals in Miami and Madrid this season.
His Cincinnati triumph lifts him to a career-high live ranking of World No. 11, and fifth in the ATP Live Race To Turin.
Fils will be joined by American star Learner Tien, who returns after making his Kooyong debut in 2026.
Tien's breakthrough season has included his first Australian Open quarter-final, securing the Geneva Open title, and his first ATP Masters 1000 semi-final in Montreal.
The 20-year-old American continues to establish himself as one of the game’s most exciting emerging stars.
The 2027 Kooyong Classic takes place from 12–14 January at Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club, with more world-class players still to be announced.
